I know, I know, it's been a pretty long time since you last heard something from me. I hope you all can forgive me. How is it going? Are you enjoying the lovely summer weather, or do you have to stay in the office? If so, the next vacation can't be too far away.
New Motivation for Me
According to the motto 'it's fun again', I've been training intensely for the past weeks and months to be ready for the upcoming season. And so far, I'm very satisfied with my preparation. After the rather disappointing olympic winter and the adjoining knee operation, I have motivated myself and am really looking forward to the coming season.
Big Changes
As you probably know, I have not only gotten new skis, shoes and bindings from Atomic, but also changed my training group because I needed new surroundings. So I now train in the World Cup group 3 founded last year to help injured and young female skiers get into their best shape. It just wouldn't have worked out with the other group anymore.
Satisfied with the First Tests
In the WC3 I train with Kurty Mayr who used to be the men's coach. Right now we're on the Mölltaler glacier and I've got to say that the feeling with the new material really is very good. While the other Austrian teams are preparing in New Zealand, my group will stay in Europe and we'll be training in Zermatt starting next week.
Looking forward to winter
I have put behind the last season. But now I'm having fun again, and I'm really excited about this coming winter.
I wish you all beautiful summer days and don't stress out about work too much!!!
