Well I certainly won´t forget this weekend so quickly, although it hasn´t really started like it was scheduled before. Because of the weather chaos the super G had to be delayed by some hours. Into the bargain I had to sit at the chair lift half an hour because of a blackout. But finally it worked really good with the third place. Much more wasn´t possible and so I was more than content with the place on the podium.
Ideal downhill ledas to the tenth Tofana victory
The downhill on Saturday was ideal then! This race was a wild ride over the optimally prepared Tofana and when I had reach the finish and saw the luminous number one it took a great load off my mind. It is really something special to win times in one place and it really makes me a bit proud.
