If someone told me after my crash in Thursday´s training that I would win the super G in Tarvisio by a margin of 1,01 seconds ... I don´t quite know how I would have responded to that.
Maybe now you can imagine how I feel. It is unbelievable: On Thursday there was that bad crash, on Saturday it continued with place two in downhill and on Sunday there was my 45th World Cup victory: This weekend will always have a special place in my memories!

But this all wouldn´t have been possible if I hadn´t have such a great background: It starts with my coaches around Kurt and Peter and my physiotherapist Claudia, the Atomic team with my technician Andi Berger and Atomic women´s racing boss Heinz Schilchegger and many more. But most of all I thank my Qi Gong master Werner Tautermann who has made me gather momentum for the two races. Of course I don´t forget my family who is by my side and always supports me at 100 percent.
When it works out then everything´s fine
Strengthened by the victory of the little crystal globe for downhill on Sunday it almost went of its own volition in the super G. As I had completed so much for me by winning the downhill globe I wasn´t under pressure anymore. Well and so I could also establish a personal record by the seventh season´s victory. This winter is just about the limit.
Bone edema in the right shank
Yesterday I was examined in the LKH-Stolzalpe and there the diagnosis was made that I have a bone edema in my right shank. Thank God the ligaments are alright. On the left a damage at the cartilage causes some problems. So I will undergo treatment this week and on Thursday or Friday I will decide whether I take part in the giant slalom in Zwiesel or not!
