Since Monday I´m back on my skis at the Kitzsteinhorn after the two surgeries. And I tell you one thing: Everything fits well and I´m crazy about the next days of snow.
Great feeling
After the uncertainty during the last months it´s a great feeling to ski down the slopes without pain again. Although I only went down the pistes without obstacles I know my knee is alright and that´s simply fantastic for me. And I´m not scared that the past falls and injuries could put the brakes on in my head because I´m not somebody who tends to be afraid after heavy falls. Far from it! Usually I watch my falls on video and I´m always happy to be able to ski again soon after it. That´s why I´m really looking forward to put on my downhill skis.
No start in Soelden
But one thing is certain: I will have to leave out the World Cup in Soelden at the end of october and probably I will only take part in downhill and super G in the following winter.
I wish a wonderful autumn to all of you and I´m looking forward to see you again at the World Cup races in winter.
