I must admit honestly that a long time has passed by since I have dropped you a line lastly. I must apologize and I hope you forgive me.
Exciting duels at the fan club race
But during the last weeks I had to take a rest from the exertions of the winter and replenished my reserves. Among other things I have been to Bulgarian Banko with a part of my fan club to take part in the fan club race. After real exciting and great duels against Marc Girardelli´s Michi Dorfmeister´s and Rainer Schoenfelder´s fan club we made it to the final in the end. There Niki Hosp´s fan club was waiting for us. And like it has always beeen during the past years I could really count on my fan club and so we were able to win the race for the second time that was organized perfectly by Valentin Blazey and Michi Dorfmeister. So I eventually managed to end this year´s season with a victory.
Striking a satisfying balance of the winter
During the past weeks many people asked me whether I was satisfied with a winter without victories. Of course I would have liked to win a race. But when I think about having started off into the winter with two surgeries and having begun training in october first the season was more than satisfying for me. Finally I made it to the podium several times and Lindsey Vonn was the only one who could beat me in the discipline World Cup.
