Eventually the World Cup season in Sölden will start the following weekend. Even though I am not actually present, I am looking forward to these races that I will follow on television. As you know in Sölden the slopes are known to be challenging, so we will see where my colleagues and I are at. Of course I will keep my fingers crossed for everyone.
Compassion for Marlies Schild
Unfortunately Marlies Schild can not attend because of her injury. Right here I would like to take the chance to wish her all the best and above all, a lot of patience for the upcoming weeks. But the way I know her she will regain her strength and be back next season.
Speed races not until the beginning of december
It is just over a month until I will participate in the first races for this season. As you surely know the speed season will open in Lake Louise from December 5th-7th. I am looking forward to this a lot. If you train diligently throughout the whole of summer you can hardly wait until it eventually starts.
Busy training on the glacier
In the past weeks I was busy training on the glaciers here and I must say, in Sölden we had perfect training conditions. Now it would be ideal if the weather turned colder because then the snowing machines could start in our home ski resorts and we would have additional training possibilities.
